Target Audience: Volunteers
The Issue: A need existed for the Prescott Area Shelter Services non-profit to update their Volunteer Handbook with new procedures. Their handbook had an inconsistent layout, formatting issues, and incorrect information.
Solution: I created a handbook using Canva to include their branding colors, logo, and images. I added page numbers and made the content more digestible to learners by breaking up the text heavy copy with bullet points, text boxes, and simple elements to trick the eye.
Result: A more streamlined PDF with chunked information. They previously didn't have well-formatted forms in the appendices whereas the new version does. Learners reported better usuability and readability.

Target Audience: Youth in grades 7th-12th
The Issue: A need existed for an updated leadership manual for the LaPorte County 4-H Junior Leader program. I was tasked with designing a new manual for teens to navigate leadership development journey throughout the year. The Junior Leader program also struggled to keep teens engaged and motivated to get involved in higher leadership opportunities besides their local clubs.
Solution: I created an incentive level program for teen 4-H members to become more involved in leadership opportunities at local, county, state, regional, and national levels. The portfolio includes an activity chart, reflection questions, and a resume. Teens who chose to complete the portfolio are able to gain introspection, communication, and career readiness skills.
Result: Since its 2017 inception, 30 teens have reached the bronze pin level, 15 have achieved the silver hat level, and 3 reached the gold embroidered jacket level. The program has been adapted in the neighboring county of Porter with several youth achieving the gold leadership level within the first two years of adoption.

Target Audience: Solo women travelers in social media travel groups
The Issue: In many travel groups online, women look for safe countries to visit while solo traveling. Poland is one of the safest countries in Europe, but it often overlooked and considered a "fly bye" country.
Solution: I created a detailed guide of Poland from my two solo travels to the country in 2021 and 2023. I provide websites, tips and tricks, and insights I have learned while on my 18 and 15 day adventures.
Result: My guide has been shared over 100 times since its creation in 2024 in multiple travel groups.
